Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at a manufacturing plant in the local area. The Plant Operator will be responsible for overseeing and managing plant operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain plant equipment and machinery
- Monitor plant processes to ensure smooth operation
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Keep accurate records of plant operations
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting machinery
- Ability to dig, lift, and move heavy materials as required
- Experience in commercial driving would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
